San Jacinto Monument at Night B W- We came back to photograph this after dark and did a long exposure for this black and white. The San Janciinto Monument located in La Porte just outside of Houston Texas along the ship channel. The monument consruction ibegan n 1836 it is 567 ft with a 34 foot star that commemorates the site of the Battle of San Jacinto. All of this is part of the Battle of San Jacinto which is a historic landmark. From the observation deck you can see the ship channel and the USS Battleship of Texas.
