This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

Interior of legendary bohemian hang-out Moulin de la Galette, painted during his time in Paris by Spanish impressionist Ramon Casas (1866-1932) c.1890-91. There seems to be a whole scene going on here, with the troubled-looking young woman being comforted by her male companion, whose face we cannot see, while a faintly adrogenous-looking young woman in the foreground looks studiously askance. The way Casas has captured the ambience of the cafe, with its shady corners, glistening chandeliers and gloss-painted ceiling, contrasted with the conspicuously fresh-faced young woman closest to us, is remarkable.
